Iggy Ignatius, born in India, migrated to the United States in the early eighties. His early school education was in Chennai and Engineering at BITS, Pilani. After earning an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he went back to India and became one of the pioneers of the Resort industry there, developing many resort properties throughout the nation. After the Asian financial crisis in the late nineties, he migrated back to the USA. Iggy is currently the CEO of ShantiNiketan Developers, which develops ethnic retirement communities near Orlando, Florida. Iggy has three children Shirley, Jennifer, and Jeffrey. He and his wife Shanti plan to spend their retirement at ShantiNiketan.
